Whilst we work towards restoring and redeveloping the Paignton Picture House, we are excited to open the doors of The Projection Room – a central hub for information about the restoration project and our fundraising appeal, events and activities, artistic and cultural workshops and more. Just across the road from the cinema, come inside to find out how you can get involved in the rediscovery of the magnificent Paignton Picture House.

BayCATs presents a new exhibition with the theme The Movies. Join us to explore a creative celebration of cinema through art.
Art Exhibition 3/1

5-9 November, 10am-4pm @ The Projection Room
This exhibition showcases the work of three artists connected by both family and creativity : Richard Biercewicz, his son Ryan, and Ryan’s partner, Anne-Marie Alexander. Richard’s watercolours reflect his renewed passion for painting; Anne-Marie creates tactile, nature-inspired jewellery and ceramics; and Ryan’s detailed illustrations blend surrealism with organic forms. Together, their work celebrates different creative journeys rooted in their connection to nature and the local environment.
Art Exhibition and sale of works for Rowcroft Hospice

Christine Durrant has been an amateur artist for 40 years. When she retired two years ago, she took up art full-time. This is her first solo exhibition.

Tim Durrant has been a keen amateur photographer for a similar length of time. With retirement he has also been able to devote more time to his hobby. This is the first time he has exhibited his photos.
They are donating any profits to Rowcroft Hospice in grateful thanks for the end of life care their family and friends have received there.
